I’m honored to be a 2024-25 Wilson Competition Fellow at the Wilson Center’s Mexico Institute, where I am conducting research and writing about the paradox of Mexico’s achievements when it comes to gender parity in politics, even as high levels of economic disparity and gender-based violence persist. I am on leave from my role as editor-in-chief, AS/COA Online at Americas Society/Council of the Americas, where I cover Mexico and oversee content and multimedia production.
